Minimum Standards Improving

Just before breaking for the Memorial Day holiday both houses of Congress passed a minimum wage increase plan and sent it to the president.
On May 25, 2007 President Bush signed the law.
This is the first raise in the federal minimum wage in a decade, and will eventually result in a $2.10/hour increase for affected employees.
